As a Truck Driver for local destinations (Slovenia, Croatia), you will be responsible for delivering to our supply chain logistics department in a safe and timely manner in Slovenia/Croatia.
Duties and responsibilities
- Safely operate and drive a semitrailer or a solo truck to transport goods within the local area.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods to prevent damage during transportation.
- Plan routes and schedules to optimize delivery efficiency and meet customer deadlines
- Plan and manage distribution to manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers

- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, checking for mechanical issues and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or delays encountered.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to provide updates on delivery status and address any concerns or issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safe and responsible driving practices.
- Follow proper procedures for the handling of hazardous materials, if applicable.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, performing routine maintenance and reporting any mechanical issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Uphold a professional and customer-oriented approach, providing excellent service and representing the company in a positive manner.

Requirements and qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Truck Driver
- Minimum 2 years of experience with electronic equipment and software such as GPS, AVL units or CB
- Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
- Valid driver's license appropriate for the type of vehicle being operated.
- Proven experience as a truck driver or delivery driver.
- Clean driving record with no driving violations or accidents.
- Knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns, and knowledge of traffic laws, regulations, and safety procedures for commercial vehicles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions while on the road.
- Physical stamina and ability to handle long hours of driving and heavy lifting.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems.
- Willingness to comply with drug and alcohol testing requirements.
- Willing to submit to background and drug checks on a regular basis
- Trucking or vocational school diploma
- Current truck driving licence
